Building on the need for enhanced manageability and security for our enterprise customers, we have announced Enterprise Desktop Virtualization Solution Optimized for the VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Our new Wyse Thin OS - VDI Edition software-based product is the thinnest device to deliver the benefits of Desktop Virtualization. Not only does it eliminate the user complexity around deploying the Virtual Desktop architectures, it also enables single pushbutton "power on to work" for virtualized environments and is integrated with popular connection broker technologies. Businesses and institutions will be able to manage their desktops from the data center by placing a user's desktop environment in a virtual machine, hosted on an industry standard server, and accessed by a thin client on the user desktop.
Wyse is also a participant in the VMware Community Source program, an innovative collaborative development effort that provides open technology access to the source code and APIs for VMware ESX Server. The program combines the best elements of open source and enterprise development allowing partners to boost the level of functionality and slash the time to market of virtualization solutions for their customers.

 VARBusiness Awards Wyse the Best of the MidMarket for the S10.
The Wyse S10 Thin Client was named a VARBusiness Best Midmarket Product of the Year by CMP Media's VARBusiness magazine. The biweekly magazine that provides strategic insight to technology integrators solicited input from information-technology (IT) vendors and solution providers to determine which products and services were best for midmarket customers - companies with between 100 and 999 employees. Entries were considered and reviewed by VARBusiness editors who selected only 45 of the more than 350 nominated products. Wyse S10 appears on the magazine cover and is featured and profiled in the special August 7 VARBusiness "Best of the Midmarket" issue.
