Wyse Technology is now shipping two of its latest award winning mobile thin clients — the Wyse X90L and X90Le. Both models are based on Microsoft Windows® XP Embedded, augmenting the company's portfolio of mobile thin clients making it the broadest of any thin client vendor in the industry (four models in total).
Mobile professionals get the most advanced functionality including 802.11b/g/n wireless support, Cisco CCX compatibility, and Gigabit network connectivity enabling users to access the fastest network connections possible. These new models also offer users a large, bright 15.4-inch widescreen WXGA TFT screen, standard 1GB RAM/1GB Flash, and the only one to support rich multimedia in virtualized desktop environments. The X90L starts $729* while the X90Le with built-in Bluetooth™ and smart card support starts at $799*.

Wyse Offers Built-in Support for VMware VDM
Wyse continues to make significant announcements that further demonstrate its market leadership when it comes to thin computing and desktop virtualization. Late last month, Wyse announced that its thin clients now include built-in support for VMware Virtual Desktop Manager (VDM). This means businesses looking for a desktop virtualization solution based on VMware VDI now have a plug and play VDM compatible solution, simplifying deployment and management.
