Stream It!
Wyse WSM software already powers cloud PCs and legacy PC desktops to become fully fledged diskless computers running Microsoft Windows XP Pro or Vista. Now that support is extended to Windows 7 for streaming to a virtual machine, thin client or cloud PC.
Globalize it!
Now validated on Windows 7,
Wyse Virtual Desktop Accelerator (VDA) software accelerates Microsoft RDP and Citrix ICA protocols by up to 3-20 times on long WAN networks subject to latency and packet loss.
Place it in the Cloud!
Any Windows 7 cloud-based application that is accessed from a virtual desktop is immediately accessible via Wyse thin and zero clients.
Hold it in your hand!
Wyse's innovative
PocketCloud app, which delivers complete access to a PC, Mac, or virtual machine from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, will immediately support desktop access for clients running Windows 7.
Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard
Running Windows Embedded Standard (WES), the latest and most advanced embedded OS from Microsoft, on Wyse thin clients gives IT departments the ability to deploy fully functional desktop computers with better manageability and significantly lower total cost of ownership than personal computers.
Wyse WES-based thin clients can run a broad range of Windows applications, either locally or from servers, with the inbuilt flexibility to add and support a host of desktop peripherals with permission from the IT administrator.
Secure write-protected operation
This robust and flexible operating system is further enhanced by the Wyse file-based Write Filter that enables you to protect the files, folder and/or entire volume from accidental changes or user customization. On rebooting, the thin client simply returns to its original state preventing any possible damaging modification either from users or malware.
New - Wyse Project Pyramid
Project Pyramid brings unprecedented simplicity to the management of thin clients, by automating the deployment using a private cloud or server, whether it entails ten devices or tens of thousands. Client devices are updated to the desired configuration automatically on startup, user logon, or when instructed by Wyse Device Manager software. IT simply determines the desired configuration, and Project Pyramid automatically does the rest, with no imaging or re-booting required. Project Pyramid works with Microsoft write-filter technology, so it's fully secure. Users can be stationary, mobile, office or home-based. This level of automation is supported by clients with Wyse ThinOS, Wyse-enhanced SUSE Linux, and now Wyse-enhanced Windows Embedded Standard.
Wyse customized image support
Wyse technicians are prepared to help you customize Windows Embedded Standard to your exact requirements in order to create custom-built images for subsequent enterprise-wide deployment, management and update through Wyse Device Manager.
Microsoft Windows XP Embedded
Running Microsoft Windows XP Embedded on Wyse thin clients gives IT departments the ability to deploy fully functional desktop computers with better manageability and significantly lower total cost of ownership than personal computers.
Wyse Microsoft Windows XP Embedded-based thin clients can run 32 bit Microsoft Windows applications, either locally or from servers located on the network, with inbuilt flexibility to add and support a host of desktop peripherals with permission from the IT administrator.
Secure write-protected thin desktops
This robust and flexible operating system is further enhanced by the Wyse file-based Write Filter that enables you to protect the file system image from accidental changes or user customization. On rebooting, the thin client simply returns to the required file system image state.
Wyse customized image support
Wyse technicians are able to help you customize Windows XP Embedded to your exact requirements and create bespoke system images for subsequent enterprise-wide deployment, management and update through Wyse Device Manager.
Microsoft Windows CE
Wyse-enhanced Microsoft Windows CE is ideal for departments and organizations that need support for Citrix HDX and Microsoft RDP as well as a light local browser and terminal emulation, plus standard connections to peripherals and add-ons.
Microsoft Windows CE gives you a PC-like experience on the desktop, with local terminal emulation so you can run most legacy applications. By combining this small and fast operating system with firmware components, Wyse is able to reduce boot times and increase protection against viruses, trojan horses, and other malware.
The result is a simply more secure solution that provides the flexibility to add standard peripherals, from printers to scanners to USB thumb drives. However these peripherals can only be connected under access controlled by the IT administrator.
