WyseChoice Warranty Program Options

The livelihood and success of your company relies on the productivity of its employees. To help your business achieve its goals, Wyse offers a wide selection of thin clients, while providing comprehensive service and support. Wyse also offers the following warranty options to further lower the total cost of ownership of our thin clients.

GoldChoice

GoldChoice is our premium Advance Replacement Service (ARS) extension. GoldChoice is designed to provide you with the parts you need to minimize equipment downtime, without requiring major investments in inventory, asset management infrastructure, and other costly resources. Our GoldChoice option provides you with 3 or 5 full years of ARS coverage. This program is only available on our line of thin clients. The GoldChoice option includes:

  • Provides 5 full years of next day replacement service for desktop products and 3 years of service for mobile products.
  • Must be purchased at the time of purchase of your units
  • Online RMA process

SilverChoice

Our SilverChoice option is our enhanced warranty program. The SilverChoice option upgrades the standard warranty to basic ARS coverage. The SilverChoice option includes the following:

  • Provides 3 years of next day replacement service for desktop products and 1 year of replacement service for mobile products.
  • Renewable in 1 or 2 year increments
  • May be purchased at time of purchase of your units or within 90 days of warranty registration
  • Purchase requires that product has been previously registered
  • Online purchase process with credit card
  • Online renewal process
  • Online RMA process

BronzeChoice

Our BronzeChoice option extends the standard warranty from 3 years to 4 or 5 years. Our BronzeChoice option includes the following:

  • Extends the standard warranty coverage up to 4 or 5 years for desktop products and up to 3 years for mobile products
  • Renewable in 1 or 2 year increments
  • May be purchased at the time of product order or 90 days prior to the expiration of the original warranty
  • Purchase requires that product has been previously registered
  • Online purchase process with credit card
  • Online renewal process
  • Online RMA process

Purchasing Terms

These programs are available on new and previously purchased products.

  1. GoldChoice – warranty upgrade must be purchased at the same time as your product purchase.
    1. Please contact your Wyse reseller for more information.
    2. Does not apply to refurbished product
  2. SilverChoice - must be purchased within 90 days of the product purchase
    1. Product must have been previously registered.
    2. Renewals must be purchased at least 60 prior to the warranty expiration
    3. Does not apply to refurbished product
  3. BronzeChoice – previously purchased product must have at least 90 days remaining on standard warranty.
    1. Product must have been previously registered.
    2. Does not apply to refurbished product.

You may purchase these extended warranties in one of the following ways:

  1. End Users in the US and Canada who wish to purchase the SilverChoice or BronzeChoice using a purchase order or credit card may contact Wyse’s partner, CintronicsOnline.com, at 1-630-499-9973 or their Authorized Wyse VAR Partner.
  2. End Users outside of the US and Canada should contact their Authorized Wyse VAR Partner.

Program Details

GoldChoice

The GoldChoice - Advance Replacement Service program is only available with new product purchases. You must order this program on the same purchase order used to purchase your Wyse Thin Clients. With this purchase you or your reseller will receive an email with a contract key and instructions indicating that this key must be activated in order to complete the contract process. If you do not receive this key and instructions please notify your reseller. After activation, you will receive an email detailing the serial numbers of the units covered as well as the instructions for obtaining service.

How does this program work?

Wyse’s GoldChoice program assures that a like-new Wyse thin client is delivered to your door by the following business day (second business day in some geographical locations). The design of this time saving service eliminates the inconvenience of finding a box for shipping the defective unit in for repair and then waiting for that unit to be repaired.

Obtaining Service

In the event that your unit requires repair, simply call our toll free number at 1-800-800-WYSE (1-800-800-9973) and choose Option 2. The Customer Service Representative will assign an RMA number to your serialized unit. Wyse will express a replacement unit to your location the following business day (second business day in some geographical locations) if we receive your call by 1:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. If Wyse receives your call after 1:00 p.m., the replacement unit will arrive the second business day (third business day in some geographical locations).

Wyse has made the return of the defective unit easy by including pre-paid shipping instructions with each replacement unit. The program requires that you return the defective unit to Wyse within 10 business days or you will receive an invoice for the full list price of the unit. Once received, the defective unit becomes the property of Wyse. Upon receipt of the defective unit, the replacement unit warranty will assume the remaining warranty period of the original unit.

This time saving service eliminates the inconvenience of shipping the defective unit in and waiting for that unit to be repaired.

*Note: The expiration of this upgrade will coincide with the expiration of the standard warranty. SilverChoice is only available on Wyse thin clients that are registered with Wyse and must be purchased within 90 days of product registration. Additionally Wyse service programs do not extend the battery warranty for the X class products.

BronzeChoice

The BronzeChoice extended service program offers you peace of mind for up to 5 years of desktop and 3 years of mobile thin client ownership. The program takes effect at the end of the standard 3-year or 1-year warranty period and covers all parts and labor that are available under the original warranty. When you consider that the average cost of just one repair can be $150 or more, a substantially higher cost than our average warranty extension plan, you can be assured that you're making a sound investment. With the BronzeChoice extension, you won't need to waste valuable time or money finding a service provider or waiting for non-operative thin clients to be repaired, which can have dramatic effects on productivity. Overall, these benefits help you avoid unnecessary hassle and expenses and keep your business operating at maximum efficiency.

This program is available for most Wyse models of thin clients.

Should your unit require repair, assistance is only a phone call away. The first step is to call our toll free customer service number 1-800-800-WYSE. The Customer Service Representative will assign an RMA number to your serialized unit or refer you to the closest Wyse Authorized Service Center (ASC).
