TOPIC: PROBLEMS USING PRINT SCREEN KEY ON WY150 AND WY60 IN PCTerm DATE: 6/11/92 PRODUCT: Wy150, Wy60 THE ISSUE: Problems using print screen key on Wy150 and Wy60 in PCTerm OVERVIEW: Some customers will expect the terminal to print the screen to the printer that is attached to the terminal when they hit the print screen key on the enhanced p.c. style keyboard when running PCTerm personality on the Wy150 and Wy60. RESOLUTION: When in PCTerm the print screen key does not act as a local keyboard command. Instead the print screen key actually sends the appropriate scan codes to the host computer. To make the print screen key act as a local keyboard command you must actually go in to setup and turn block mode on. After exiting setup you can then hit the print screen key and it should print the contents of the screen to the attached printer. Remember to put yourself back in to full duplex afterward. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= DISCLAIMER -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This information is intended to inform WYSE personnel and WYSE customers of certain issues in a timely fashion.
