TOPIC: SETUP PROCEDURE DIFFERENCE 60 / 99 / 150 / 160 DATE: 04/01/91 PRODUCT: WY-160, WY-99GT, WY-60 **ALERT THE ISSUE: Comparison of methods for saving FUNCTION/EDIT keys RESOLUTION: The WY160, when reprogramming FUNCTION or EDIT keys, places the information directly into " saved " memory. The operator or program which has done the programming does not need to do a " SAVE ALL " to have the information present in that key upon power-on. The WY60 and WY99GT both would place the reprogramming information into a " temporary " memory space, and the operator or program would have to do a " SAVE ALL " to have the information present in that key upon power-on. --> IF YOUR CALLER HAS A PROGRAM WRITTEN FOR THE WY60 OR WY99GT WHICH TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THIS FEATURE TO " TEMPORARILY " LOAD THE KEY, AND THEN " RESTORE " THE PREVIOUSLY SAVED VALUES, IT WILL NOT WORK ! On the WY160 you will need to re-enter the information which was previously resident in the key. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= DISCLAIMER =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This information is intended to inform WYSE personnel and WYSE customers of certain issues in a timely fashion.
