Pick the Wyse software maintenance option to meet your needs

Wyse Software Maintenance options offer solutions to meet your ongoing functionality needs. You can enjoy easy Web access to valuable software resources (including evaluation software, upgrade software, and other tools and documentation).

Wyse Thin Client Software License options consist of the following choices:

  • Software maintenance is available to both WDM Workgroup and WDM Enterprise Editions as a 1, 2 or 3-year contract.
  • Software maintenance for WDM Workgroup is charged as a flat fee per customer (supports up to 750 seats).
  • Software maintenance for WDM Enterprise is charged on a per seat (per device) basis.

As part of your Software Maintenance, you will receive maintenance releases, minor versions, major version upgrades, and product feature enhancements during your maintenance coverage period. New releases often include many new features, improvements, requests by customers, and the peace of mind of knowing that your software products are always up-to-date with the newest releases. Software maintenance also allows you to obtain from Wyse the re-issuing of your WDM Sale key or the consolidation of several keys into a single one in the case you need to re-install your Wyse Device Manager software.

WDM customers without Software Maintenance have only access to minor releases to their WDM version (minor versions are denoted by the 3rd digit, for example 4.7.1 to 4.7.2 and hot fixes).

Major releases contain numerous features and design enhancements to WDM. Minor releases contain primarily bug fixes and customer requested very minor feature enhancements. We anticipate major versions will be released regularly about every 6 to 12 months. Minor revisions may be made available between major releases of the Wyse Software.

Wyse Software Maintenance does not include Technical Support. Check Wyse Technical Support for options.
