Software Conversions
For customers who own Wyse Thin Clients and wish to convert from one operating system to a different operating system, Wyse is pleased to offer the following conversion kits.
The conversion kits are as follows:
- R Class WES2009 Software Conversion Kit (920222-22) - This kit will convert an R90L or R90Le from Windows XPe to WES2009. For 2GB or 4GB flash configurations. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- R Class WES2009 2GF Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-23) - This kit will convert an R Class thin client from Windows XPe to WES2009. Includes a 2GB flash module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- R Class WES2009 4GF Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-24) - This kit will convert an R Class thin client from Windows EP embedded to WES2009. Includes a 4GB flash module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- C Class WES7 Software Conversion Kit (920222-42) - This kit will convert an C Class thin client from Windows XPe or WES2009 to WES7. For 4GB flash configurations only. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- C Class WES7 4GF/2GR Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-43) - This kit will convert an C Class thin client from Windows XP embedded or WES2009 to WES7. Includes a 4GB flash module, a 2GB RAM module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- R Class WES7 Software Conversion Kit (920222-44) - This kit will convert an R Class thin client from Windows XP embedded or WES2009 to WES7. For 4GB flash configurations only. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- R Class WES7 4GF/2GR Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-45) - This kit will convert an R Class thin client from Windows XP embedded or WES2009 to WES7. Includes a 4GB flash module, a 2GB RAM module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- X90cw WES7 Software Conversion Kit (920222-46) - This kit will convert an X90cw from WES2009 to WES7. For 4GB flash configurations only. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- X90cw WES7 4GF/2GR Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-47) - This kit will convert an X90cw from Windows XP embedded or WES2009 to WES7. Includes a 4GB flash module and a 2GB RAM module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES7 license.
- VLE Class WES2009 2GF/1GR Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-51) - This kit will convert an VLE Class thin client from Linux, Windows CE or Windows XP embedded to WES2009. Includes a 2GB flash module, a 1GB RAM module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- VLE Class WES2009 Software Conversion Kit (920222-52) - This kit will convert an VLE Class thin client from Windows XP embedded or WES2009. Includes a conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- C Class WES2009 2GF/1GR Hardware/Software Conversion Kit (920222-53) - This kit will convert a C Class thin client from Linux, Windows CE or Windows XP embedded to WES2009. Includes a 2GB flash module, a 1GB RAM module, conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.
- C Class WES2009 Software Conversion Kit (920222-54) - This kit will convert a C Class thin client from Linux, Windows CE or Windows XP embedded to WES2009. Includes a conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and a WES2009 license.

- VX0LE ThinOS Software Conversion Kit w/Maintenance (920222-95) - This kit will convert an VX0LE from Linux, CE, XPE, or WES2009 to Wyse ThinOS. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and 1 year of ThinOS maintenance.
- RX0L ThinOS Software Conversion Kit w/Maintenance (920222-96) - This kit will convert an RX0L from Linux, XPE, WES or WES7 to Wyse ThinOS. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and 1 year of ThinOS maintenance.
- CX0L ThinOS Software Conversion Kit w/Maintenance (920222-97) - This kit will convert an CX0L from Linux, CE, XPE, WES or WES7 to Wyse ThinOS. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and 1 year of ThinOS maintenance.
- SX0 ThinOS Software Conversion Kit w/Maintenance (920222-98) - This kit will convert an SX0 from Linux, CE or XPE to Wyse ThinOS. Includes conversion image, imaging tool, installation guide and 1 year of ThinOS maintenance.
