n*p*h*r*52 = annual electricity cost for desktop computing
n = number of desktop devices p = power (in kilowatts) used by each device (thin clients = .007, PCs = .07) h = number of hours each week that devices are turned on r = current electricity rates in kWh ($0.0894 = national average as of December 2006) 52 = number of weeks in a year
