Getting the Bundled Wyse Device Manager, Version 4.5 Workgroup License
Getting your Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 Workgroup license is easy! Simply follow the steps below to get your license. Your terminal must have been purchased after November 1, 2006 to qualify for a bundled Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 Workgroup license. If you have terminals that do not qualify for the bundled license please contact your Wyse Sales Representative or your Wyse Authorized Reseller to purchase a license for your terminals.

Getting your Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 Workgroup license:
- Download Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 or order a free CD at http://www.wyse.com/bundle/download.asp
- Install Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 (Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 comes with a 30 day, 200 seat Workgroup license)
- Discover your Wyse Thin Client using one of the various discovery mechanisms built into Wyse Device Manager. For more information on discovery of devices please see the Wyse Device Manager 4.5 help file.
- After discovering all of your thin clients, open up the Configuration Manager node in Wyse Device Manager
- Under the Configuration Manager title, select "Preferences", then select "Device Manager" on the right side of the screen, double click on the "Device Manager" and make sure the check box for "Automatically upgrade older agents" is checked (this will push the Wyse Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 agent to the Wyse devices).
- Right click on "Licensing" under the Configuration Manager node
- Select "All Tasks" then "Get Bundled Licenses" from the Right-click menu
- Follow the instructions in the Get Bundled Licenses Wizard
- If your server has access to the Internet, you can have Wyse Device Manager automatically retrieve your Wyse Device Manager Workgroup license for you.
- If your server does not have access to the Internet, Wyse Device Manager will prepare a file to be emailed to rapportlicensing@wyse.com after which you will be emailed your Wyse Device Manager Workgroup license key.
- You are now licensed and ready to use Wyse Wyse Device Manager, version 4.5 Workgroup!
