Wyse Accessibility Information

Wyse Section 508 Policy Statement:

Wyse Technology is committed that its products comply with the letter and the spirit of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1998, which requires that Federal agencies make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.

Thin clients are empowering to anyone who is challenged by using a computer for their job. They are simple and easy to use, almost never break, and require no management by the end-user. All user features - including individual settings and access levels -- can be set by the administrator. Plus, thin clients are completely secure from data theft, viruses, or digital attack.

People using thin clients find they are more productive, efficient, and relaxed; they never have to figure out what their operating system wants in order to work. They go on-line within seconds of powering on. There are no waits, no crashes, no blue screens.

Wyse thin clients are "Assistive technology-ready." They can work with any assistive technology that has been configured to work in a multi-user server-based computing environment operating in any of the Windows or legacy server environments that work with Wyse terminals. It is important that agencies evaluate and test any assistive technology they plan to use in a server-based computing environment to ensure compliance with Section 508.
