SAN JOSE, Calif. – 06/08/2006 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced that Amerisure, a leading workers compensation mutual insurance company,  selected Wyse Thin Clients to simplify desktop management across the company.  With nine field offices and hundreds of remote employees, Amerisure needed a way to standardize applications and hardware to reduce maintenance requests and save on expensive PC replacements.

The solution, which includes Citrix Presentation Server and Windows Terminal Services, helps make information services more accessible to field offices, who work with customers across the country.  When a new desktop is needed, Amerisure plugs in a Wyse Thin Client and has instant access to the infrastructure software on the server.
