Wyse Technology Names Steven K. Shevick as Chief Financial Officer

Experienced Finance Executive Will Join Wyse Management Team

San Jose, CA – 05/18/2005 - Wyse Technology, the domain experts in network-centric computing, today announced that Steven K. Shevick will join as the company's Chief Financial Officer in June. As a key member of Wyse's management team, Mr. Shevick will provide financial leadership and play an instrumental role in developing the company's strategic growth plans. In his new role, Mr. Shevick will be responsible for finance, operations, legal affairs and human resources.

Mr. Shevick will bring deep senior financial management experience in the software industry to his position at Wyse. He will be joining from Synopsys, a world leader in semiconductor design software, where he has been Chief Financial Officer since January 2003 and where he also held the positions of Vice President of Investor Relations, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Shevick has an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
