President George W. Bush Gets a Second Look at Energy Savings of Wyse Technology's Winterm Thin Appliances

President Bush, Vice President Cheney And Staff Witness How Wyse Thin Appliances Use Up To 80 Percent Less Power Than Personal Computers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – 06/28/2001 - Wyse Technology, the worldwide leader in thin-appliance computing, announced today that President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and other members of their staff will view a demonstration of the energy savings of Wyse's Winterm™ thin appliances over personal computers. During a session at the U.S. Department of Energy, the President and Vice President will see and hear how thin appliances from California-based Wyse Technology are helping address some of the energy consumption issues of the state's businesses. The President and California Governor Gray Davis originally witnessed this demonstration following a discussion with the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles on May 29, 2001.
