Software Product Manager
Location: San Jose, California
This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone who wants to play a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment with exciting technologies and top-notch engineers.
The Software Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This will include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Software Product Manager’s role will also include ensuring that the product supports overall strategy and goals.
Primary responsibilities
- Define the product roadmap and strategy
- Deliver PRD’s with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Run beta and pilot programs with pre-release products
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
Required qualifications
- BSCS/EE, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4+ years experience as a Product Manager
- Experience with enterprise software product launch
- Experience with both large company and start-up environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to translate consumer wants to needs
- Technical background in enterprise software.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must have ability to engage with customers on a regular basis
