Embedded Applications Development Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA We currently have an opening for an Embedded Applications Development Engineer. The perfect candidate should have experience with writing extensive embedded applications and have experience with various protocols (TCP/IP), server-client protocols (example VNC).
Responsibilities:
- Develop applications using C
- Handle engineering communications with Wyse partners
- Be an "owner" of the application/protocol
Requirements:
- 5+ years development experience (using C)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and understand complex (100s of pages) specs
- Communicate with 3rd party companies and keep communication between internal team and 3rd companies
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- Development Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows
- Understanding of compression and optimization algorithms
- Travel 10% (U.S.)
